The author of this film was Christopher Nolan and was born in July 30th 1970. He was born in London along with one other brother. In his early years he was very interested in short films and made a few his self while attending college. When he got older and started his professional career he ended up making hit films such as Insomnia, The Dark Knight, and this film Inception. Most of his films kept me on the edge of my seat and i highly recommend every one of them.
The movie is basically about a group of people that go into others dreams through the use of sedation to try to extract information. In the group there is a dreamer, architect, chemist, subject and the extractor who all work together in order to perform this task. The plot ordered the characters to take it one step further and instead of extracting a dream they put an idea into someones dream. the main character Leonardo DiCaprio has to jump through hoops of action to make sure that this happens if he wants to see his kids again. The movie ends leaving you on the edge of your seat wondering if he is still in a dream.
The element i liked most about the movie was that the architect (the one mapping out the dreams) could make the setting anything they wanted it to be as long as it followed the guidelines of what the subject was used to. Even though the movie would have really took place where ever they were sleeping you actually saw the setting of the dream. The world had endless possibilities left in choice to the one creating it. At one point the viewer got to see how the main character wanted his world to look like with endless buildings along the ocean and all of there important places they lived throughout life all scrunched into one area. The visuals were just stunning. The main character in Inception was Leonardo DiCaprio who was the extractor in the movie. His character was very charismatic and he was very smart. Throughout the movie while he was in the dreams of others he was sort of haunted by his dead wife. This caused him to act very strangely and he was not able to function as well as he should. This in turn caused problems for the other characters. As the movie progressed he learned to shut his wife out and he ended up getting the job done. He was able to do this with the motivation inspired by the thought of being able to be with his kids again.
